Mission Statement: The Environmental Committee shall review all environmental activities, including but not limited to solid and other waste disposal, prevention of blight and pollution, protection of the water, air, scenic and other resources of the Township, that are not specifically delegated, by law or by the Township Board, to others, and shall make recommendations regarding these matters to the Township Board and to perform other related functions as may be directed by the Township Board.

The Environmental Committee has been working hard to provide Resort Township with a clean and healthy environment so all can enjoy the serene beauty of our community. The committee has been involved with:

• successful spring clean-up.

• implementation of the voucher system for residents of the township in removing items from their yards, home, etc.

• initiating a roadside clean-up program for volunteers in the township.
