This 1.1 acre Township Park is designed to provide a public boat and day use facility for the public. Morford Park is the only Resort Township boat launch on Walloon Lake. The launch is shallow so a concrete ramp extends about 20 into the lake from the waterline. This allows people to launch without concern for traction difficulty.A seasonal dock has been added to make the launch more functional. There is no boat-trailer parking available, however, parking is available for about six day-use vehicles. The park has two picnic tables with nearby grills. Other park improvements include two stairways providing access to the picnic area and waterfront. Also, a split-fence protects the embankment from the effects of accelerated erosion due to pedestrian traffic.
