Townsend Road End

This right-of-way access is located at the end of Townsend Road and is maintained by the Emmet County Road Commission. It is comprised of a concrete ramp, sturdy dock, and organized paved parking. The access is quite narrow and is not conducive to the launching of watercraft greater than fourteen feet in length. It is well suited for a carry down launch of smaller watercraft like canoes, kayaks, and inflatable rafts.
