West Park

West Park is located at the West End of the Bay Harbor Development on Little Traverse Bay and is approximately 33 acres in size. Most of the park has been left in its natural state, providing a rustic experience. Park facilities include a day-use parking area off Townline Road and a  restroom. A 1/4 mile path leads from the parking area to a picnic pavilion and open space overlooking Little Traverse Bay.

A portion of this property consists of wetlands which connect to the nature preserve wetlands on the Bay Harbor property. The majority of the land in this park is in a natural state with some small paths linking to the wetland ecosystem. An additional wood chip loop trail meanders through the hardwood forest area of the park.
