Lucy Eppler

Lucy Eppler, longtime Clerk for Resort Township, passed away after a long illness on September 27, 2023.  Lucy was first appointed as the Clerk in 1990 and held the position until her death. The Township Board has appointed Rufus Welsheimer as the acting Clerk until a new term starts on November 20, 2024. Rufus was Lucy’s deputy for several years and is very knowledgeable about elections, having been in charge of many elections over his almost 20 years as Deputy Clerk.
