Resort Township Board of Review will meet in public session at RT Hall, 2232 Resort Pike Rd, Petoskey, MI or by electronic means if required by MDHHS Order on Wednesday March 10, 2021 from 1pm to 4:30 pm and recess until 6pm to 9pm and Thursday March 11, 2021 from 9am to 12pm and recess until 1 pm to 4pm for taxpayers to protest their 2021 property tax assessments. Also protest by letter to Robert Wheaton, Supervisor- Assessor, 2232 Resort Pike Road, Petoskey, MI 49770; or email to supervisor@resorttownship.org subject line “MBOR Protest”. All mail and email protests must be received by March 11, 2021 at 3 PM.

March Board of Review

Virtual Meetings. If meeting by electronic means, the public notice will be posted not less than 18 hours prior to the meeting at the township or city hall and on their website, if applicable, as required by PA 228 of 2020. The notice will include the specific telephone number and/or internet address needed to participate and contact information for all board of review members. ZOOM internet codes will be available and posted on March 1, 2021.

Contact your Assessor. If you have questions or concerns about your assessment, please contact your assessor. They may be able to address your questions and concerns without you having to appeal to the March Board of Review.

Protest in Writing. Taxpayers are encouraged to submit their protest to the Board of Review in writing to the mailing address provided in the March Board of Review Appeal section of the assessment change notice.
